How to Store Liquor Before a Party

Improper storage can change the taste of liquor. You should know how to properly store a liquor, especially when you have a big batch of liquor for a party. Beer and wine, for instance, are particularly sensitive to changes in temperature. Wines typically need to be refrigerated if there are still a couple of hours left before you serve them. You can also chill them in the fridge 30 minutes before you start serving them. Liquors with high alcohol content shouldn’t be stored in low temperatures. They are not supposed to be frozen. That said, alcohols like beers or ales are better left in the fridge. You can also just leave them at room temperature or in a cool area of the house. Just be sure to avoid direct exposure to sunlight and keep the bottle in an upright position.  Liquors like whisky are better left at room temperature.
